Our Specialist Trauma service supports children and young people whose lives have been shaped by frightening, overwhelming or repeated difficult experiences, and the parents, carers and professionals around them. Trauma can affect how a child feels, behaves, learns and relates to others. With warm, evidence-informed support, children can begin to feel safer and more connected.
We draw on approaches such as play therapy, EMDR and creative arts therapies, alongside dedicated support for the adults who care for and work with these children. Everything is offered at reduced rates, with free funded places made possible through grants and community funding.
