Group workshops

Trauma-informed group workshops for parents, carers and professionals.

Our group workshops bring parents, carers and professionals together to learn, reflect and feel less alone. Shared learning can be powerful: hearing that others face similar challenges, and picking up practical ideas, often makes a real difference to how supported people feel.

Themes we cover

  • Understanding attachment and trauma, and how they shape behaviour.
  • Therapeutic parenting and the PACE approach.
  • Supporting anxiety and building resilience.
  • Looking after your own wellbeing as a carer or practitioner.

How workshops run

Workshops are interactive, with space for questions, discussion and shared reflection rather than sitting and listening. They can be delivered in person at our centres or partner venues, or online, and can be tailored to a particular group — for example a fostering network, a school community or a staff team — so the content fits the people in the room. We keep groups a comfortable size so everyone can take part, and we create a warm, non-judgemental atmosphere where no question is too small.

Workshops complement one-to-one therapeutic parenting support and our work with schools.
